About
I am a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist working across sound, image and performance, based in Italy.
My practice is rooted in cinema, and extends into experimental music and audiovisual performance, often crossing cultural contexts and collaborative environments.
My background is grounded in theatre, which I consider a foundational container for all the arts.
Theatre has shaped my approach to filmmaking and multimedia practice, allowing me to explore sound, image, movement, space and narrative as interconnected elements within a shared temporal experience. This perspective continues to inform all my work, regardless of medium.
My experience includes work in cinematography, documentary filmmaking, live visual design and education, with projects developed in both institutional and independent contexts, in Italy and abroad.
I work both individually and within collectives, approaching sound as living matter and performance as a shared perceptual space.
Across formats, my work often blurs the boundaries between cinematic language, music, noise and acoustic environments, inviting the audience into immersive situations where perception and presence become central. Listening, like viewing, is treated as an active gesture rather than a passive act.
I am interested in projects that sit at the intersection of art, sound, image and technology, where experimentation remains grounded in physical experience, spatial awareness and collective attention.
